What it's about: A teenage girl dealing with her whole world falling apart, how she get's through and what she learns.

What I thought: I absolutely loved this book! How could I not?! Louise Rozett has given us a gorgeous high-school life story! Rose is so naive, and super smart, it is adorable! Plus there is a gorgeous 'bad boy' too! Yum!

the good: This is such a real story - I felt that every moment was typical of a teenager's life. Rose is such a smarty pants, her dad is dead, her brother off to college and skipping Thanksgiving, her mum is so withdrawn after losing her husband, her best friend is joining the ranks of the cheerleaders with sex being the only thing on her mind and leaving Rose behind, and of course there is Jamie. Jamie, the older, bad boy with a sort-of girlfriend who Rose is seriously attracted to. With the bad boy, comes complications - it can never be easy can it!

the bad: I hate to point out the obvious, but why can't the sequel be out already?!
