ReplyDeleteImajica has to be one of the spookiest novels that I have ever read. Okay, maybe it's not spooky, but it's downright scary! Superstitions (or something similar, titlewise) by R. L. Stein is really spooky, too. :-)

Well, I just finished Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book and found it very creepy in an understated way.

True Singapore Ghost stories! It's really creepy because the 'happenings' hit close to home and it's much more 'real' than the Western horror stories. >.<

My favorite "scary' book is Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Recently I read Anna Dressed in Blood and loved it. I'm currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I think it will be great for Halloween.
