Dream
Cast for Confessions of an
Almost-Girlfriend!
I had a great time doing this last year
for Confessions of an Angry Girl, so
I’m VERY excited to do it again this year! it’ll be interesting to see how much
it’s changed in a year...
For ROSE: Okay, last year, I said Chloe
Grace Moretz from Kick Ass and 30 Rock—I love Chloe, and think she’s an
amazing actress. But this year, ever since seeing the fake Dora
the Explorer movie trailer on YouTube, I
keep thinking about Ariel Winter from
Modern Family. She’s clearly got the
humor/sarcasm chops—I bet she’s great at drama, too.
For JAMIE: I think maybe I’m ready to
let go of Jeremy Sumpter, and move on to Colton
Haynes from Arrow, who has
surpassed Jeremy in terms of repins on my “Who should play
Jamie Forta?” Pinterest board. Colton
definitely has that bad boy thing going on—but does he have the heart of gold?
For ANGELO: I’m sticking with my choice
from last year on this one, Avan Jogia.
Of course, I chose Avan after watching him on Victorious. Needless to say that the character he plays on Twisted is VERY different! But that just
proves that he’s a really good actor, right?
For TRACY: I totally love Taissa Farmiga, and now that she’s in
the Bling Ring, I’m convinced that
she’d be the perfect Tracy.
For REGINA: Am I the only person who
likes it when the Fanning girls bust out in mean-girl roles? I think Elle Fanning would be a PERFECT Regina!
For CONRAD: This is a TOUGH one. My
dream would be Dane DeHaan from In
Treatment and Chronicle, but he’s
now 27. (I don’t think I could convince him to play a high school freshman at
this point!) I need some help on this one, Readers—after you’ve “met” Conrad,
find me on Facebook and tell me who you think should play him!
Confessions of an Almost-Girlfriend (Confessions #2) -
Louise Rozett
Released: June 18, 2013
Publisher: Harlequin
Released: June 18, 2013
Publisher: Harlequin
Synopsis: Rose Zarelli has big plans for sophomore year—everything is going to be different. This year, she’s going to be the talented singer with the killer voice, the fabulous girl with the fashionista best friend, the brainiac who refuses to let Jamie Forta jerk her around...
...but if she’s not careful, she’s also going to be the sister who misses the signals, the daughter who can only think about her own pain, the “good girl” who finds herself in mid-scandal again (because no good deed goes unpunished) and possibly worst of all...the almost-girlfriend.
When all else fails, stop looking for love and go find yourself.
