Endless Knight -
Kresley Cole
Released: October 1, 2013
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Aust

Synopsis: In the second book of the Arcana Chronicles Evie has now fully come into her powers as the tarot Empress. And Jackson was there to see it all. In the aftermath of killing Arthur, the tarot Alchemist, Evie realizes that a war is brewing between the other teens that, following the apocalypse, have been given powers and its kill or be killed.

Things get even more complicated when Evie meets Death, the mysterious, sexy Endless Knight. Somehow the Empress and Death share a romantic history - one that Evie can't remember, but Death can't forget. She is drawn to the Endless Knight, but is in love with Jack. Determined to discover why she's been granted these powers, Evie struggles to accept her place in a prophecy that will either save the world, or completely destroy it.

What I thought: What a killer sequel to Poison Princess! I can't even... I just - my mind is absolutely blown! In the first book of the Arcana Chronicles, Poison Princess, the apocalypse happened, Evie learned about the Tarot cards and the game, and we all fell for Jackson. In Endless Knight, however, we see a lot less Jackson and a lot more Death, and now your book boyfriend crush will be torn between the two! We pick up almost exactly where we left off and go from there. Evie learns more about her powers, we meet a few more Arcana cards and then of course, Death plays a massive part in this story. We get to see some more memories of past games, and learn about Death's previous connections with the Empress.

Most of this book revolves around Evie getting to know Death and we get to see a new side of him. There are even a few raunchy scenes through the novel, that you have to look forward to! We also learn a bit of a secret about Jackson and Matthew, and of course, it all ends in tears. On a wicked cliffhanger more like it. Kresley Cole is a wonderful storyteller and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

If you liked Poison Princess then hurry up and get onto Endless Knight!!

The Good: Getting to know Death was my favourite part!

The Bad: The long wait for the next book!
