Supernaturally - Kiersten White

"Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.

But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.
So much for normal"

If you haven't read Paranormalcy yet, I suggest you don't read this review!!

Supernaturally, you disappointed me. Don't get me wrong, this book was good, but I feel it does not even closely compare to Paranormalcy. Paranormalcy created a world for us, and it made you want to know everything. You wanted to know about all the different kinds of paranormal creatures, you wanted Evie to fight for her freedom. It was awesome.
Supernaturally however, was not up to the same standards. Evie got her wish to be normal, but now she isn't sure if she really wants it. She is never happy in this novel. No offence, but I don't want to read about a girl who got what she wants then complains about it.

Enter Jack. Human boy stolen by fairies. Was he supposed to be a love-interest to rally against Lend? Or was he just there to cause trouble? Which he did of course. And Evie meeting her sister Vivian in her dreams? This is meant to be okay after everything? Why oh why isn't she telling anyone. All the while, Evie has to resist the urge to "soul-steal". Kiersten, I really hope you can redeem this story when Endlessly comes out on the 24th July.
