Day One - Introductions First!

Today, we are getting to know our fellow Armchair BEA participant's! We all have to answer 5 questions about ourselves, then visit fellow bloggers and learn more about them! So here are my questions/answers - now I'm off to visit other blogs! Ciao!

Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging?

For everyone who doesn't know me, I am Claire! :) I have only been blogging for about 4 months now, but I am loving every second of it! I got into it because I just really wanted something to do with my spare time! I figured, "why not start a book blog since I love reading so much" - from there it has just taken off! I didn't even realise how big the book blogging community was!

What are you currently reading, or what is your favorite book you have read so far in 2012?

Currently, as I write this post, I am reading The Syndicate by Shelena Shorts. My favourite book of 2012 so far.... EEEK. Such a hard question! Either Storm by Brigid Kemmerer or Of Poseidon by Anna Banks!

Tell us one non-book-related thing that everyone reading your blog may not know about you.

Last week I started online University! I am hoping, once I finish the endless study, to become a High-School History teacher :)  I also have a daughter who is almost 2!

What is your favorite feature on your blog (i.e. author interviews, memes, something specific to your blog)?

I love everything I do on my blog, but my favourite would have to be "Waiting On" Wednesday (Hosting by Breaking the Spine) - I love to show readers what fabulous books are yet to be released, and in reverse, I find so many new amazing books to look forward too!

What is your favorite part about the book blogging community? Is there anything that you would like to see change in the coming years?

My favourite part would be meeting new people, from all over the world. I have made some amazing friends and I am so grateful to everyone! As for changes, I'm not really sure. I haven't been blogging long enough to know what kind of changes could happen!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for Day Two - Giveaway's Everywhere!

  35. Your blog is only 4 months old?! I thought you'd been around much longer! WoW is probably my favourite book blogging meme, I love all the books being spotlit and it opens up so many to me -- unfortunately it also just kills me because I'm anticipating so many books for so long, too haha. Congrats on University, good luck! I'm meeting Anna Banks on Wednesday for the Fierce Reads tour and wanted to have read Of Poseidon before it but didn't get the chance; I'm excited to read it though, and am glad to hear you liked it!

Happy Armchair BEA, and lovely to "meet" you! (I've been a follower for a bit now, but I'm not sure if I've ever commented before!)
